1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 409 and 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a person with clean antecedent and is a woman and in sum and substance, the allegation is of cheating and criminal breach of trust of public money committed by the petitioner along with other co-accused in execution of public work.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in the instant case by the informant. It is further submitted that petitioner, being Chairman

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3395 of 2026(2) dt.06-02-2026 2/2 of the Ward Managing Committee, came to be implicated with general and omnibus allegation of cheating. It is next submitted that petitioner is in custody since 08.12.2025. It is also submitted that petitioner will not abscond rather will cooperate in the trial to prove her innocence.

5. Learned A.P.P. opposes the bail application.

6. Considering the submissions and taking into consideration the fact that petitioner is a woman, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Parbatta P. S. Case No.376 of 2019.

7. The application stands allowed.
