Petitioner is languishing in custody since 23.11.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 225, 353, 332, 337, 338, 429 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that during investigation of Phulwaria P.S. Case No. 72 of 2013 the police apprehended Ali Akhtar, but the family members of the petitioner and other accomplice got released Ali Akhtar from the police custody and assaulted the informant.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the accusation is omnibus and general, whereas the co-accused has been granted regular bail. Considering the omnibus and general nature of
