The petitioner seeks bail in Barauni P.S. Case No. 342 of 2003 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 307, 504, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act. The earlier bail application of the petitioner was rejected vide Annexure-1 to the present application taking into account that the petitioner is the assailant. A report was called for from the Court below regarding the stage of the case. It has been reported that the case has been committed to the Court of Sessions on 2.5.2019. Considering the nature of accusation and the stage of the case, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same is rejected. The Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2580 of 2019(4) dt.19-06-2019 2/2 at the earliest preferably within a period of nine months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The District Magistrate, Begusarai and the Superintendent of Police, Begusarai are also directed to take necessary steps to produce the remaining witnesses on the date fixed in the Trial Court so that the trial could be concluded within the stipulated period.
