2. In the instant petition, petitioners have prayed for following reliefs:

Patna High Court CWJC No.5570 of 2020 dt.07-12-2021 2/2 "1. That the petitioners abovenamed pray for issuance of a writ commanding and directing the respondents concerned to appoint the petitioners on the post of Panchayat Sachiv/Secretary for which they are entitled to being Dalpati in view of policy decision of the respondents State. And/or any other relief/, writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions, for which the petitioners are found to be entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. Petitioners are stated to be Dalpaties and their grievances are that they are entitled to hold the post of Panchayat Sachiv/Secretary in view of policy decision of the RespondentState. The petitioners have not produced any material to show that Dalpati post holder is entitled to be appointed to the post of Panchayat Secretary. In the absence of material information, the petitioners have not made out a case so as to issue direction to respondent to appoint the petitioners as Panchayat Secretary.

4. Accordingly, the instant petition stands dismissed reserving liberty to the petitioners to approach the concerned respondent in the event of any policy decision of the State that Dalpaties are entitle to be appointed to the post of Panchayat Secretary.
