The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 20, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S Act.

On the disclosure of this petitioner 1 Kg. of Charas was recovered form the house of the petitioner. The recovered narcotic was found to be Charas on forensic examination. Petitioner is in custody since 09.07.2017. Petitioner has got fourteen criminal cases against him. 50 per cent of them are very serious in nature including of murder.

Considering the facts of this case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Bettiah Town

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3673 of 2019(5) dt.19-04-2019 2/2 P.S. Case No. 511 of 2017 pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran. Hence, his prayer for bail is refused.
