The petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Mirganj P.S.Case No.277 of 2019 registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 and Section 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. There is recovery of one country-made pistol, two cartridges and 2.800 ltrs. of liquor from the petitioner . Apart from that he is accused in five other cases.
Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that this is a case of plantation at the instance of the police and he has bee apprehended from the house and made accused in such false cases and nothing has been recovered from him. He is custody since 16.11.2019.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2912 of 2020(2) dt.20-01-2020 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
