The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 30, 30(a), 38 and 41 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

It is a case of recovery of country made liquor from the vehicle of this petitioner.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. He further submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts that seized liquor was recovered

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4083 of 2022(3) dt.26-07-2022 2/2 from the vehicle of this petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
