The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with G.O. (Excise) Case No. 1040 of 2018/ Singhwara P.S. Case No.237 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The allegation is regarding recovery of 180 liters of illicit Nepali wine from the car standing at Shyam Chowk. The petitioner and three other accused persons are said to have been arrested from the said car.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case inasmuch as neither the car belongs to the petitioner nor the illicit liquor has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner herein. The

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Ivth A.D.J. cum Special Judge (Excise), Darbhanga in connection with G.O.(Excise) Case No. 1040 of 2018/ Singhwara P.S. Case No. 237 of 2018.
