The petitioners seek bail in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 130 of 2019, registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018. The accusation is of recovery of 77 bottles, each containing 375 ML Indian made foreign liquor from white colour Tata Indigo car in which both the petitioners were found sitting.
Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners have no criminal antecedent and they are in custody since 24.10.2019.
Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1989 of 2020(2) dt.24-01-2020 2/2 the case, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl. Sessions Judge-II, Banka in connection with Excise Complaint Case No. 130 of 2019.
