The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Maranchi P.S. Case No. 74 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 409 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation against the petitioner is that he being the in-charge of Maranchi North, Maranchi South and Malpur Gram Panchayat did not handover the charge file, folder and register with regard to appointment of teachers in Gram Panchayat from the year 2003-2012.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was posted in the aforesaid block on 03.07.2013 and he did not receive any papers from his predecessors. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16156 of 2017 (2) dt.24-04-2017 2/2 named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Sub-Judge-IV cum Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barh, Patna in Maranchi P.S. Case No. 74 of 2016, Subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
