The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 341, 323, 308, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/ 4 of the Witch Practices Act. It is alleged against the petitioners that they along with other accused persons have abused the informant by calling her witch and when she made protest, she was brutally assaulted by the accused persons. It is further alleged that when the husband of

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case and in the background of some land dispute, the present F.I.R has been registered. It is further submitted that for the alleged occurrence of 13.08.2021, the F.I.R has been registered on 16.08.2021. There is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. A statement has been made in para 3 of the petition that petitioners have no criminal antecedent.

In the facts and circumstance of the case, let the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(Ten Thousands) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate,
