It is the grievance of the petitioners that despite prior approval given by the Bihar Sanskrit Shiksha Board (hereinafter referred to as 'the Board') for grant of recognition, the State Government of Bihar has not acted upon the said approval and has not taken a decision in respect of grant of recognition to Shri Vedanand Dropadi Sanskrit Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Bhargama

Patna High Court CWJC No.2534 of 2017(2) dt.08-12-2017 2/3 Lakshmipur, block-Bhargama, in the district of Araria. The petitioners place reliance on letter no. 2560, dated 24.08.2010, issued by the Chairman of the Board to the Department of Human Resources, Government of Bihar, according approval for grant of recognition. The petitioners have also placed reliance on subsequent communications made by the Special Director, Secondary Education, Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, and a recent communication made by the Secretary of the Board, dated 20.07.2016.

The petitioners claim to be the Secretary of the Governing Body of the said Shri Vedanand Dropadi Sanskrit Madhyamik Vidyalaya and the Principal of the said school. It is the grievance of the petitioners that the State Government is unnecessarily delaying the matter of grant of recognition. Considering the nature of dispute sought in the present writ application, I dispose it of with a direction to the Special Director, Secondary Education, Education Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, to ensure that a decision is taken on the question of grant of recognition to the said Shri Vedanand Dropadi Sanskrit Madhyamik Vidyalaya within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this
