2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with G.B. Nagar P.S. Case No. 626 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 316(2) and 318(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
3. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is accused of cheating the informant but the parties have settled the dispute and a joint compromise petition dated 01.03.2025 has been filed in the Court below.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission, this application is disposed of with as direction to the Magistrate
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4937 of 2025(3) dt.19-04-2025 2/2 concerned to verify the genuineness of the compromise petition and if the informant supports the compromise petition, then the petitioner shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM-IV, Siwan/concerned Court in connection with G.B. Nagar P.S. Case No. 626 of 2024.
5. It is made clear that if the informant disputes the compromise petition than the Magistrate concerned shall pass an appropriate order in accordance with law.
6. The entire exercise must be completed by the learned Magistrate within a week from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
