Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No.250 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341/323/498A/384/385/504/506 of the Indian Penal Code. Wife of the petitioner has lodged the present criminal case.

Allegation is that the petitioner was in extra-marital relationship with a girl and on protest by the wife, the petitioner assaulted her as well as to her children.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1847 of 2020(5) dt.05-10-2020 2/2 Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail is refused. However, in the event of surrender of the petitioner, the prayer for regular bail shall be considered without being prejudiced by the order of this Court.
