The petitioners seek bail in connection with Maner P.S. Case No.504 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under sections 341, 323, 324, 302, 504 & 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

For a trivial dispute, the deceased was stabbed by one Santosh Kumar. These petitioners are said to have assaulted the victim.

The petitioners are in custody since 12.07.2023.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners are not the main assailant of the deceased and there is general and omnibus allegation of assault against them.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4992 of 2024(3) dt.09-04-2024 2/2 submitted that the petitioners had earlier burnt the house of the victim and now the victim has been killed.

Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer of the petitioners for bail.

Considering the nature of allegation against the petitioners and also their period of custody, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Danapur, Patna, in connection with Maner P.S. Case No.504 of 2023. 10.

This is subject to the condition that petitioners shall mark his attendance in Maner Police Station, District- Patna on first and third Sunday of every month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioners. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
