The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the letter no. 602 dated 06.03.2017 (Annexure-4) issued under the signature of the Director Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, Patna (respondent no. 1) whereby and whereunder the petitioner has been deputed in the District Welfare Office, Araria from District Welfare Office, Purnea with immediate effect.

3. At the very outset and without going into the detailed merits of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that a

Patna High Court CWJC No.4726 of 2017 dt.07-09-2017 representation dated 17.03.2017 has already been filed before the Director, Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, Patna against his transfer from Araria to Purnea on grounds of illness of his mother and wife.

4. Learned counsel for the State appears and has been heard.

5. Having regard to the submissions on behalf of the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director, Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribe Welfare Department, Patna (respondent no. 1) to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2017, if still pending, in accordance with law and after grant of opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, expeditiously and preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this judgment.
