====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-04-2023 Heard learned counsels for the petitioner and the State.

Petitioner apprehends arrest in case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution case, this petitioner along with other F.I.R. named accused persons, sold out the land of the informant fraudulently.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. He next submits that petitioner is cousin brother of the informant and the land in question belonged to the petitioner after death of their grandmother. It is further

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3598 of 2023(4) dt.17-04-2023 2/2 submitted that F.I.R. in the present case has been lodged after delay of three days and the dispute is of civil nature. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail application of the petitioner and submits that petitioner has made a forged signature on the sale deed and has suppressed his criminal antecedents in petitioner No. 3 to this petition. Petitioner is accused in two more criminal cases. Considering the aforesaid facts and criminal antecedents of the petitioner, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected.
