The petitioner is in custody in connection with Khutauna P.S. Case No. 83 of 2019 corresponding to G.R. No. 1523 of 2019 registered for the offences under Sections 272 and 273 of IPC and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

In the instant case there is recovery of 2748 litres of liquor from a truck and the petitioner is one of the persons who fled away.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that similarly circumstanced other co-accused have been granted bail. The petitioner is in custody since

Considering the fact that petitioner has remained in custody since 01.10.2019 and other co-accused have been granted bail, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing his personal bond to the satisfaction of the Additional District and Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Madhubani in connection with Khutauna P.S.
