In this case, the petitioner is claiming that he is entitled to Rs. 83,30,000/- for the work carried out by him. In pursuance to an agreement, the work order has been issued by the Commissioner, Municipal Commissioner vide letter no. 862 dated 21.2.2008, whereafter, the petitioner entered into an agreement to carry out the work order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in terms

Patna High Court CWJC No.5088 of 2017 dt.10-05-2017 of the agreement, the petitioner was directed to affix the High Mast Light of Bajaj Company and 65 Watt LED Street Light at different places of the municipality of Begusarai. He further submits that the petitioner has already carried out the work but, the payment for the same has not been made as yet to the petitioner. Let the petitioner file a detailed representation along with a copy of this order to the Municipal Commissioner, Nagar Nigam, Begusarai who will verify the correctness of the claim of the petitioner and if it is found that the petitioner has carried out the work, the payment will be released to the petitioner without delay preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of the representation.

With the aforementioned observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
