Petitioner has prayed for following relief:- (i) For issuance of an appropriate in the nature of mandamus and certiorari, commanding the respondents to pay compensation of Rs.43 lakh to the petitioner who is wife of late Sanjay Kumar, died due to electric shock besides his house on account of negligent act of the respondents who did not maintain live electric wire in course of supplying electricity, may be issued. (ii) For issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions commanding the respondent to pay compensation as stated above to the petitioner who lost her earning husband due to electric shock when her husband came in touch with live handing electric wire while he was going out of his for attending

(iii) For issuance of any other appropriate writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions commanding the respondents as the Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, may be also be issued."

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the minimum compensation, as envisaged in the policy framed by the State, stands remitted into the petitioner's account. In so far as the remaining claim is concerned, petitioner shall take recourse to such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available in accordance with law. Ordered accordingly.

The instant petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

Interlocutory application, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
