The petitioner qualified at all stages for being appointed as Constable and was directed to give her joining at Bettiah District Police Force. However, for reasons which were beyond her control, she reported before the Superintendent of Police, West Champaran, Bettiah after delay of about two months which was not accepted. The representation of the petitioner before the Superintendent of Police, West Champaran, Bettiah fell on deaf ears.

Patna High Court CWJC No.1230 of 2019(2) dt.21-01-2019 2/2 Per force, the petitioner had to approach the Respondent No. 2 / The Director General of Police-cumChairman, Central Selection Board (Constable Appointment), Bihar, Patna, which representation is still pending and no order has been passed on the above representation. Let the Respondent No. 2 take a final call on the matter and pass order on the representation of the petitioner. While doing so, the Respondent No. 2 shall look into the correctness / genuineness and veracity of the reasons given for the late reporting of the petitioner and shall pass orders taking into account that the petitioner had been successful in all stages and only because of some factors which were beyond her control, if found to be true she could not report on time.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands disposed off.
