The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bidupur P.S. Case No. 220 of 2021 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) and 41(i) of the Bihar Excise Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 28.10.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and has antecedent of three cases. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation is of recovery of 4527.72 litres of liquor from the house of one Chandrama Singh.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not arrested from the spot and said Chandrama Singh has been granted bail vide order dated 15.11.2021 in Cr.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.3642 of 2022(2) dt.07-03-2022 2/2 Misc. No. 45522 of 2021.

Learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and Chandrama Singh has been granted bail, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Excise Court No. 1-cum-Additional District and Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur in connection with Bidupur P.S.
