The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 324, 307, 302, 201 of the Indian Penal Code. It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the deceased was caught committing theft and he was assaulted by the villagers in which he has sustained injury for which FIR has been registered.

Considering the period of custody and the allegation

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4304 of 2022(2) dt.23-05-2022 2/2 levelled against the petitioner, the petitioner above-named, is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Jokihat P.S. Case No. 309 of 2021 on his furnishing bail-bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria.
