JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 27-02-2020 Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bakhtiyarpur P.S. Case No. 311 of 2019, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-B)(a) and 26 of the Arms Act. Allegation is of recovery of one country-made pistol and cartridges from the petitioner and apart from that he is accused in 15 other cases.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that nothing has been recovered from his possession and allegation is false and he is in custody since 24.9.2019. Heard learned APP also.

In view of above facts and circumstances, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.6935 of 2020(3) dt.27-02-2020 2/2 within a period of nine months. If trial is not concluded within the said period, petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.

Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
