This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Chandauti P.S. Case No.27 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code. Later on, Section 395 of the Indian Penal Code as also added.

As per the prosecution, 6-7 miscreants took away the gold and silver ornaments from the house of the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is no recovery from the petitioner and no T.I. parade has been conducted. He further submits that co-accused Anuj Paswan has been granted bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 24.03.2022 passed in Criminal

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.5872 of 2024(2) dt.17-02-2024 2/2 Miscellaneous No.49004 of 2021.

The petitioner has seven criminal cases and most of the cases are of dacoity.

Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. If there is no substantial progress in the trial, the petitioner may move before this Court for bail.
