The petitioner is in custody in connection with Special Case No. 11563 of 2018 arising out of Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No. 397 of 2018 for the offences under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 06.12.2018. He further submits that in the instant case 182.880 liter foreign liquor was seized from the truck. Petitioner is casual driver of the vehicle and he has no knowledge about the illegal liquor loaded on the Truck.

Considering the aforesaid, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner be released on bail

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2652 of 2019(2) dt.21-01-2019 2/2 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 11563 of 2018 arising out of Parsa Bazar P.S. Case No. 397 of 2018.
