1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That by this writ application, the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Hon'ble court for issuance of an appropriate writ or direction to the respondents to consider and grant promotion on the post of head clerk with all consequential benefits of service, when junior persons to the petitioner namely Satyendra Kumar Singh, Surendra Prasad, Md. Iqbal Ahmad, Arun Kumar and Manoj Kumar Singh having been

Petitioner further prays for issuance of an appropriate writ or writs, direction commanding the respondents to consider and correct the seniority of the petitioner in view of the service rule and law settled by the Hon'ble court in this regard."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent no.5 i.e. the Superintending Engineer, Public Health Engineering Circle, Ara, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the Superintending Engineer, Public Health Engineering Circle, Ara, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
