2. Application is filed for initiation of a contempt proceeding against the opposite parties for their willful and deliberate disobedience of the order dated 13.08.2019 passed by

Patna High Court MJC No.107 of 2020(4) dt.07-03-2025 2/2 a Bench of this Court Cr.W.J.C. No. 1159 of 2019, whereby liberty was accorded to the petitioner to file representation in respect of his grievance before the Superintendent of Police, West Champaran, Bettiah. In case of filing of such representation within the stipulated period, the Superintendent of Police was directed to look into the matter and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.

3. A show cause affidavit has been filed on behalf of opposite party no. 7 with a categorical averment that pursuant to the order of this Court, an inquiry has been conducted and it is found that there is private dispute between the parties due to bona fide land dispute and the matter is sub-judice before the competent Court of civil jurisdiction. Nonetheless, all the necessary actions have been taken to maintain law and order, as well as, peace of the vicinity.

4. Considering the averments made in the show cause affidavit, this Court does not find any reason to continue with the present contempt proceeding and accordingly the same stands closed.
