====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 24-02-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.

2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 341, 323, 325, 307, 379, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per F.I.R., on 26.3.24 at 7:40 PM, while informant was at her home, her father-in-law got into an altercation with the accused persons and when informant intervened, petitioner no. 1 is alleged to have snatched her mangalsutra and petitioner no. 2 is alleged to have snatched her earrings.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4582 of 2025(2) dt.24-02-2025 2/2 petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case due to village politics. There is no allegation of overt act against these petitioners. Case and counter case. F.I.R. has been lodged after inordinate delay of ten days which itself falsifies the prosecution case. Petitioners claim clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

Considering the nature of accusation, clean antecedent and other facts and circumstances of the case, this anticipatory bail is allowed and it is ordered that let the above named petitioners in the event of their arrest/surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Atri P. S. Case No. 119 of 2024, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
