The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 189C of 2018 for the offence under Sections 498A, 323, 380 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of the D.P. Act.

There is allegation of torture for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He further submits that the marriage took place in 2012. In para 10 of the petition it is stated that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife with full dignity and honour.

No.7216 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 Considering the aforesaid, the petitioner named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within one month from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamui in connection with Complaint Case No. 189C of 2018 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

On release, the petitioner is under obligation to keep his wife with full honour and dignity. In the event, any complain of misbehaviour or torture is reported by the informant, the Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
