There happens to be an allegation of demand of ransom by the informant through SIM No.8581983269 as well as 7631401768. During course of tracing the location, petitioner was apprehended and from his possession mobile along with SIM No.8581983269 has been recovered.

Contention on behalf of the petitioner is that not even a single farthing has been passed over in pursuance of aforesaid threat. Furthermore, is under custody since 03.01.2015 without having criminal antecedent though, after arrest he has been in a process of remand in other cases also.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17902 of 2015 (2) dt.15-05-2015 Accordingly, petitioner Awanish Kumar Roy @ Avnish Kumar Roy is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No.785 of 2014.
