2. The present writ petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief/s:- "i. For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding, directing or ordering the respondent no.4 the Addl.

Collector Vaishali at Hajipur in which court

Patna High Court CWJC No.2213 of 2024(2) dt.16-05-2024 2/3 Mutation Revision Case No. 149/2023-2024 is pending disposal, to conclude the aforesaid case within a period of three months in the interest of justice.

ii. Any such other order or orders as your Lordships may deem fit and proper in facts and circumstances of this case may kindly be passed."

3. The petitioner has come with the simple prayer to direct the Additional Collector, Vaishali at Hajipur to take the Mutation Revision Case No. 149 of 2023-2024 to its logical conclusion.

4. Learned State counsel submits that due to on-going 2024 Lok Sabha Elections, the delay occurred and the concerned respondent no. 4 has fixed the next date of hearing as 07.06.2024 as per the information provided to him by the concerned respondent. He further submits that after hearing all the parties, the Additional Collector, Vaishali at Hajipur (respondent no. 4) shall be taking the matter to its logical conclusion at an earliest and in any case by 31st of August, 2024.

5. In view of the said assertion made by the learned State counsel, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2213 of 2024(2) dt.16-05-2024 3/3 concerned respondent to abide by the undertaking given before this Court.
