The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 224 of 2020, dated 17.06.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 406 and 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code.
The Nodal Officer of Cars24 Services Pvt. Ltd. has lodged the F.I.R. alleging that the employees of the aforesaid company have been misrepresenting to the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14973 of 2021(2) dt.25-02-2022 2/3 customers and selling the vehicles belonging to the company to private investors. One such car was purchased from one of the clients of the company but, ultimately, it was found that it was the vehicle of the wife of one of the employees. It has been alleged in the F.I.R. that the other employees of the company have also conspired to defeat very purpose of starting the business of the company and run one of its centres in Bihar in the district of Purnea. So far as the petitioner is concerned, the only accusation against him is that he has participated in the aforesaid act of duping the company. No specific allegation has been levelled against the petitioner and the accusation is solely based on suspicion and conjectures.
One of the other accused persons of this case has been granted anticipatory by a Bench of this Court vide order dated 25.11.2021 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 1568 of 2021.
Regard being had to the facts afore-stated, the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, is

No.14973 of 2021(2) dt.25-02-2022 3/3 directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail-bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with Sadar P.S. Case No. 224 of 2020, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. The application stands allowed.
