In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Bihta Police Station Case No. 395 of 2018 registered for offence punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The allegation is of recovery of 400 litres of mahua liquor.

The petitioner has a criminal antecedent as mentioned in paragraph 3 of this application.

Looking to the recovery of huge quantity of mahua liquor involved in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly his prayer for bail is rejected. (Shivaji Pandey, J) mkchy/- U T
