The petitioner is in custody in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S. Case No. 710 of 2018, registered for the offence under Sections 30, 30 (G), 38 (I) (II) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He further submits that in the instant case 106 liter liquor was seized from the Scorpio. He further submits that petitioner is driver of the alleged vehicle and owner of the vehicle managed to escape. He further submits that petitioner was not aware of the fact that liquor was kept inside the vehicle. He further submits that petitioner is in custody since 29.11.2018.

No.2986 of 2019(2) dt.23-01-2019 2/2 Considering the totality of the facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, named above is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10000/- (Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.D.J.II cum Special Judge Excise Act, Sitamarhi in connection with Runnisaidpur P.S.
