The petitioners seek bail in Bhangaha P.S. Case No. 68/2018, instituted for offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that on getting secret information that two persons were about to come to India from Vijaybasti, police party reached at the place of occurrence and apprehended two persons who disclosed their name as petitioners. On search, police recovered 70 litres of illicit liquor from bundle of cloth which was carried by them. Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that petitioners have clean antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.3275 of 2019(2) dt.24-01-2019 2/2 Petitioners are in custody since 22.09.2018.

Keeping in view the period of custody and clean antecedent of petitioners, prayer of the petitioners for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise, West Champaran at Bettiah in connection with Bhangaha P.S. Case No. 68/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioners.
