JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 29-02-2020 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 411 C of 2019 for the offence under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against this petitioner is that he was involved in torture of his wife for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. He further submits that the marriage took place on 24.04.2019. He further submits that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife with full dignity and honour.

No.7184 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 Considering the aforesaid, the petitioner named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within one month from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of S.D.J.M., Barh, Patna in connection with Complaint Case No. 411 C of 2019 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

After release, the petitioner is under obligation to keep his wife with full honour and dignity. In the event, any complain of misbehaviour or torture is reported by the informant, the Court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bonds of the petitioner.
