Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 504, 427 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of causing gun shot injury on the right shoulder of the Informant. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case due to land dispute. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and is in

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.4432 of 2019(4) dt.13-03-2019 2/2 custody since 13.10.2018.

Learned counsel for the Informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the fact that there is direction allegation of firing against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
