2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned APP for the State as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant.

3. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Murliganj P.S. Case No.429 of 2022, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 323, 324, 379, 307, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. Petitioner and two other co-accused persons are said to have assaulted the informant by means of sharp edged weapon on his head causing bleeding injury.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10470 of 2023(2) dt.20-07-2023 2/2 petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Petitioners has got no criminal antecedent as stated in paragraph-3 of the bail petition. It is further submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioners. It is submitted that the injury sustained by the informant is simple in nature.

6. Learned APP for the State as well as learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

7. Considering the nature of injury, let petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Madhepura in connection with Murliganj P.S. Case No.429 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
