Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kuchaikot P.S. Case No. 26 of 2021 registered for offence punishable under sections 323, 324, 326, 504 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per allegation, the present petitioner inflicted sword blow on the informant. The informant wanted to ward off infliction, which hit on his right hand, due to which his thumb of right hand amputated away from his hand.

The injury report is annexed with the record, which shows amputation of right thumb of the informant and it is grievous in nature. As such, the petitioner does not deserve the privileges for anticipatory bail. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected.

Office shall ensure that all defects are removed by the petitioner within the stipulated time mentioned hereinabove, failing which, the matter shall be brought to the notice of this Court.
