Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Jaynagar P.S. Case No. 99 of 2017 registered for the offence punishable under sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of this petitioner. Petitioner is neither the owner of the vehicle in question nor has any concern with the seized illicit liquor. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
