JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER 20-02-2020 The petitioner has filed the present writ petition for a direction to the respondents to pay the difference of arrears of salary to the petitioner.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as Lecturer on 5.11.1996. She was granted senior scale on 5.11.2000 and thereafter she became Associate Professor on 5.11.2005. On account of promotion, the petitioner was entitled to enhanced pay scale but the same was not paid to her.
Considering the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to the University to calculate the entitlement as
Patna High Court CWJC No.2856 of 2020(2) dt.20-02-2020 2/2 to difference of pay scale on account of promotion at the earliest preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order and thereafter within a further period of one month ensure payment of entire entitlement of the petitioner.
With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
