Petitioner is accused in connection with Excise Case No. 293 of 2019 arising out of Kaler P.S. Case No. 17 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of the Excise Act. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier prayer of the petitioner for bail was rejected by a Bench of this Court vide Cr. Misc. No. 32025 of 2019 on 14.05.2019 with observation that petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months in the event no substantial progress is made in the trial. Further submission is that there is no progress in the trial and the petitioner is in custody since 08.03.2019.

Having considered the above facts and circumstances

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.2440 of 2020(3) dt.24-01-2020 2/2 of the case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II, Jehanabad in connection with Excise Case No. 293 of 2019 arising out of Kaler P.S.
