JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 12-07-2024 Heard Mr. Rajani Kant Sing, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr. Ram Sumiran Rai, learned A.P.P appearing on behalf of the State.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners seek modification of order dated 19.08.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No.52284 of 2023, to the extent that in paragraph no. 3 of the order, in place of 'informant' it has inadvertently been typed as the 'petitioner' and in paragraph no. 4 of the order, in place of 'seized' it has inadvertently been typed as 'confiscated'. He further submits that inspite of the report of the D.T.O. and the release of the vehicle, the petitioner's bail bond has not been accepted.

3. Considering the aforesaid typographical mistake, order dated 19.08.2023 is modified to the extent that in place of 'petitioner', the same be substituted by 'informant' in paragraph no.3 and in place of 'confiscated', the same be substituted by 'seized' in paragraph no.4.

4. Order dated 19.08.2023 is modified to the above extent and other parts of the order shall remain intact.

5. Considering the information given by the learned counsel for the petitioner that vide order dated 09.03.2022, the D.T.O. has already submitted its report, relating to the motorcycle, the District Court is directed to accept the bail bond of the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the present modification application stands disposed of.
