The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 326-A/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant Shiv Kumar Choudhary alleged that the petitioner came at the jewelary shop of the informant for purchasing Dholna but some altercation took place due to payment of price. It is alleged that the petitioner threw acid on his body causing burn injuries on different parts of body like chest, eye etc. It is submitted that there is counter version of the occurrence vide Raniganj P.S. Case No. 255 of 2014. The petitioner also got acid burn injury on his elbow. It is further submitted that the informant got four burn injuries but all are

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.21582 of 2015 (3) dt.07-09-2015 simple in nature. The Superintendent of Police supervised the case and found that both the case and counter case are true as some altercation took place between the informant and the petitioner. The petitioner is in jail since 21.02.2015 i.e. for more than six and a half months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Sanjay Singh, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 251 of 2014.
