2. In compliance with the order of this Court, a supplementary show-cause affidavit has been filed on behalf of

Patna High Court MJC No.175 of 2025 dt.14-11-2025 2/3 opposite party no.4. It is categorically stated that all the retiral benefits as well as commutation of pension have been paid to the petitioner. It has also been informed that the Treasury Officer, Aurangabad had forwarded Memo No. 220 dated 10.09.2025 to the office of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna and in response thereto the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna after due verification issued Memo No. 896 dated 14.10.2025; in pursuant to which the arrears of pension has also been paid to the petitioner.

Learned Senior Advocate for the petitioner, at this stage, submits that because of some discrepancies, the earlier Pension Payment Order has been rectified and a fresh Pension Payment Order has been issued by the office of Accountant General, Bihar, Patna and the pension of the petitioner has been fixed to the tune of Rs.42,550/-, however, the petitioner is not getting the revised pension from the Treasury Officer.

4. Having considered the submissions advanced by the learned Advocate for the parties and taking note of the materials available on record, especially the averments made in the supplementary show-cause affidavit filed on behalf of opposite party no.4 to the extent that all the admissible due

So far the rectification of P.P.O. is concerned, the same has also been done at the level of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna, and now necessary payment is to be made at the level of the Treasury Officer.

5. It is expected that the same shall also be done.
