2. The present petition has been preferred for the following reliefs:- (i) For issuance of and appropriate writ order or direction to set aside and quash order dated 09.01.2017 passed by Chairman, Bihar Land Tribunal, BLT No.959/2015 Case the Hon'ble
Patna High Court CWJC No.5587 of 2017(5) dt.10-02-2025 2/3 Patna in whereby and whereunder the Hon'ble Chairman dismissed the case filed by the petitioner and affirmed the order dated 12.08.2010 passed by the commissioner magadh division Gaya in ceiling whereunder Revision the Case No.97/2007 dated order 26.10.2007 passed by Additional Collector Aurangabad in ceiling Case No.20/2007/246/200708 had been set aside. (ii) For issuance of an appropriate writ order/direction to set aside and to quash the order dated 25.01.2007 passed by the Deputy Collector ceiling Case Land Reform, No.4/2006-07 in Land whereby the whereunder the preemption application filed by Respondent No.5 & 6 vide case No.4/2006/07 has been allowed.
(iii) For any others relief (s) to which the petitioner is found fit and entitled.
3. Learned Counsel for the State submits that as per newly inserted Sub-section 4 of Section 16 of the Bihar Land Reforms (Fixation of Surplus Area and Acquisition of Surplus Land) (Amendment) Act, 2019, all the pending proceedings relating to Section 16(3) stands abated.

4. As such, this writ petition has become infructuous.
5. The statutory amount of 10 per cent, if any, of the consideration money deposited by the petitioner is directed to be refunded on filing the representation in this respect. (Nawneet Kumar Pandey, J) Neha/- U
