3. Heard on the point of admission.

4. The present Criminal Revision Petition has been preferred against the order dated 17.01.2020 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Jamui in Maintenance Case No. 14 of 2012, whereby learned Family Court has enhanced the

Patna High Court CR. REV. No.191 of 2021(4) dt.27-06-2025 2/2 monthly maintenance amount from Rs.2,000/- to Rs. 2,500/-. Prior to the present impugned order, the maintenance @ Rs.2,000/- per month was fixed in the year 2009 by the order dated 05.03.2009 passed in Maintenance Case No. 16M of 2007.

5. Hence, I find that after passage of 11 years, the monthly maintenance has been enhanced only by Rs.500/-, which is too little. In fact, the enhancement should have been on the higher side. Even then, the petitioner has preferred this Criminal Revision Petition challenging this enhancement.

6. As such, I find that there is no reason to interfere in the impugned order.

7. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed in limine.
