The petitioner seeks bail in a case under section 304(B)/201 of the Indian Penal Code.

The father of the deceased alleged that his daughter was married with the petitioner on 06.06.2011 and her husband and other in-laws were torturing her. He got information on 01.06.2014 in the night that his daughter was strangulated to death.

It is submitted that during the course of investigation the villagers have stated that the victim was suffering from diarrhea and vomiting and she died. It appears that the informant and other family members have very categorically stated that the deceased was strangulated to death

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18571 of 2015 (3) dt.03-07-2015 due to non fulfillment of demand of dowry and her body was also cremated immediately thereafter.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail in connection with Sigori P.S. Case No. 44 of 2014 pending in the court of the learned Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Danapur. This application for bail is, accordingly, rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J) Amin/- U
