JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 21-11-2025 The learned counsel for the opposite parties submits that in compliance of the order of this Court dated 27.07.2022, passed in CWJC No.2064 of 2021, an enquiry was made by the Circle Officer, Vijaipur Circle, Gopalganj, during the course whereof, it has transpired that two Jamabandi are existing, one in favour of the petitioner and the other one in favour of Sumant

Patna High Court MJC No.254 of 2024(4) dt.21-11-2025 2/2 Mishra, hence two Jamabandi Cancellation Proceedings, vide Jamabandi Cancellation Case No.617 of 2023-24 and 618 of 2023-24 were initiated by the Additional Collector, Gopalganj.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that as far as Jamabandi Cancellation Case No.617 of 2023-24 is concerned, the same has already stood disposed off. While Jamabandi Cancellation Case No.618 of 2023-24 is still pending consideration, hence it is prayed that Additional Collector, Gopalganj be directed to conclude the proceedings of the same within a stipulated time frame.

Accordingly, while disposing of the present petition, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Additional Collector, Goapalganj to conclude the proceedings of the aforesaid Jamabandi Cancellation Case No.618 of 2023-24, if the same has not yet been concluded, within a period of four weeks from today, failing which he shall not draw his salary.
